29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) 540 Highway 138 Riverdale, GA, Aerial Lift Truck: On or about December 3, 2018 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards (3-phase, approximately 7500 volts, power lines), in that an training program was not provided to employees so that they could recognize electrical hazards and follow procedures to minimize them before being expected to perform fiber splicing tasks near power lines.
