29 CFR 1910.29(b)(2): Midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, or equivalent intermediate structure members were not installed between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking/working surface when there was no wall or parapet wall at least 21 inches (53 cm) high. On or about 11/8/2019, in the production area at 545 Old Elbert Road, Royston, GA: Employees working and walking on the platforms surface of the injection mold machines are exposed to a fall hazard at heights up to 7 feet 9 inches from ground level. The employer failed to install midrails at the ladder opening on all of the platforms. a. Paton Resin AS55003 machine one each. b. Engel machines equipped with a platform. c. Injection Blow Molding Machines equipped with a platform.
