29 CFR 1926.651(i)(3): Sidewalks, pavements, or appurtenant structures had been undermined and a support system or another method was not provided to protect employees from the possible collapse of such structures: At the construction site located at 11115 Sterling Ave, Independence, Missouri. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 7 feet and engulfment hazards while standing to the side of the excavation, on a sidewalk that had been undermined by a trench created by the employer.
