OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to ergonomic hazards. a) Production Line 1 - On or about 10/17/2018, the employer exposed employees to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and ergonomic hazards, in that employees were throwing empty boxes on an overhead conveyor with 7.5 feet height of conveyor belt above the floor for performing the same tasks repetitively.
