29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: (a) On October 3, 2018, for the employee who sustained serious injury where approximately 320 degree Fahrenheit liquid asphalt splashed on the employee resulting in third degree burns and hospitalization while performing an AC30 liquid asphalt transfer from a tanker trailer into a 55 ton storage tank at Gravel Pit Road, Pahrump, Nevada.
