29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee is fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: (a) Welding Shop: On October 4, 2018 and times prior, employees are required to wear 3M Speedglas welding helmet 9100 FX-Air with Adflow PAPR during welding activities. The employer did not provide employees with a medical evaluation prior to requiring the use of the respirator.
