29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about September 6, 2018, on the roof of a residence under construction located at 2809 NE 24th Place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 21 feet when performing roof work on a steep pitch roof while not having fall restraint ropes attached to the d-rings of their safety harnesses. Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1216900, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/01/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 833 E. Lake Road N. in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
