29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: a. Foundry - On or about September 19, 2018, employees using Kalamazoo Industries, Inc. foundry saws (model no. K20FS) to cut brass parts off of trees were exposed to noise levels of up to 2370.5% of the permissible daily noise dose or an eight hour time weighted average equivalent of 112.8 dBA, and the employer failed to utilize feasible administrative or engineering controls.
