29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a. 339 West Broad St., Westfield, NJ (The Parker) Eye protection was not used by employees engaged in residential framing activities. Employees installing base plates for the third level used pneumatic nail guns without the use of protective eye equipment. Violation observed on or about August 28, 2018 MP Construction, LLC was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1209491, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 21, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 426 Lincoln Highway, route 27, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 MP Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.95(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 953264, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 3, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 59 Valley Spring Road, Morristown, NJ 07960.
