29 CFR 1910.184(c)(9): Employee(s) were not kept clear of load(s) suspended, or about to be lifted by sling: On or about August 22, 2018 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not assess the operation of the rear-load sanitation truck to determine the hazards to employees. This condition exposed employees to struck by hazards when they walked under raised dumpsters. Per ANSI 2245.1-2008, among other feasible and acceptable means of abatement the employer can perform a hazard assessment, evaluate the hazards, conduct appropriate training, and create a written program based upon the hazard assessment and evaluation.
