29 CFR 1910.176(b): Secure storage. Storage of material did create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. a. On or about August 27, 2018, employees were staging curved steel beams greater than 2000lbs and the material was not secured and stable to prevent the material from falling or collapsing, thereby exposing employees to struck-by and crushing hazards.
