Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: (a) At the worksite - A pile of lagging boards was not landed on level ground. When an employee cut the bands the boards shifted and fell onto the employee and pushed his leg into an I-beam sticking out of the ground; on or about 08/17/18. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM IN THE ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
