29 CFR 1910.243(e)(1)(i): Power lawnmowers of the walk-behind, riding-rotary, and reel power lawnmowers were not guarded in accordance with the machine guarding requirements in 29 CFR 1910.212, General requirements for all machines: a) On or about August 13, 2018, penitentiary grounds, employees working on and near a John Deere Z-Trak lawn mower were exposed to struck-by hazards in that the employer did not ensure the discharge chute was maintained in a lowered position.
