29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i)(B): The periodic inspection of the energy control procedure was not conducted to correct any deviations or inadequacies identified: a) Paper Machine No. 2 Shower Pump (West): On or about August 2, 2018 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure a periodic inspection was conducted for the pump where the difference between the pump identifiers on the procedure, operational controls, and electrical isolation devices were not identified or corrected which exposed employees to injuries associated with electrical hazards and the unexpected startup or movement of machinery components. b) Paper Machine No. 2 Shower Pump (West): On or about August 2, 2018 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure a periodic inspection was conducted for the pump where the missing energy isolation devices for the water valves were not identified or corrected which exposed employees to injuries associated with the unexpected startup or movement of machinery components.
