29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about 07-25-2018 and times prior thereto, located at URS Federal Services, Inc. - AECOM on Naval Air Station Oceana; 1760 1st Street, Suite #200. Virginia Beach, VA 23460: Employee(s) were exposed to fall hazards at approximately 6 ft. 2 inches high from top of an unguarded aircraft wing section above a concrete floor surface. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
