29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: Outside the Maintenance Shop: On or about June 8, 2018 and at times prior thereto, the employer failed to provide a chemical apron to employees exposed to a petroleum hydrocarbon chemical solvent while performing cleaning operations using a wire brush and/or metal basket to dip, degrease and clean compressor/metal parts.
