29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about June 1, 2018, an employee was exposed to fall hazards on a walking/working surface (roof) greater than 4 feet high with unprotected sides or edges as the employer did not require the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
