29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): (3) Walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. a. On or about August 08, 2018, in the Conveyor Area, employees were exposed to tripping and laceration hazards from protruding rebar in front of the top of the stairs. Four pieces of rebar that were approximately 12 inches long and were approximately 3 inches above ground level, were directly in the employee's path going down the stairs.
