29 CFR 1910.269(a)(2)(i)(B): Each employee was not trained in and familiar with any other safety practices, including applicable emergency procedures (such as pole-top and manhole rescue), that are not specifically addressed by this section but that are related to his or her work and are necessary for his or her safety. A) Catherine Sanders Rd, on or about May 20, 2018, an employee was not properly trained on using special techniques to hold an overhead power-line that was under tension from a fallen tree in place, while the employee reached over the power-line to cut a branch from the tree, exposing the employee to a struck by hazard.
