Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1917.44(f): Vehicular routes, traffic rules, and parking areas were not established, identified, and/or used: a. On or about May 22, 2018, at PR Terminals Reefer Containers Staging Area, employees were exposed to struck by hazards from vehicles, such as trucks and reach stackers moving in and around the yard. Policies, procedures and measures were not developed or used to prevent employees from being struck by moving vehicles. On May 21, 2018 an employee was struck by a reach stacker-Kalmar #21068 while working in the yard. NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
