29 CFR 1910.28(b)(5)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a runway or similar walkway is protected from falling 4 feet or more to a lower level by a guardrail system: a) 315 East Dean Associates Inc. DBA St Regis Aspen Resort, located at 312 E. Dean Street, Aspen, CO 81611: On and preceding 5/22/2018, the employer did not ensure that employees engaged in cleaning and maintenance activities in the space above sheetrock ceilings were protected from falls by a guardrail system. Employees performed cleaning and maintenance of air ducts in the space above a sheetrock ceiling which is approximately 25' above the ground. The employees were provided with sheets of plywood and other temporary platforms which do not have fall protection in place to prevent a workers from falling through the sheetrock. This exposes employees to falls from height.
