29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: (a) On or about March 1, 2018, and at times prior to that date, employees were exposed to fall injuries of approximately 22 feet while climbing on the guardrails of a scissor lift to access a commercial building roof and to reach a desired working position while attaching metal beams during steel erection activities, without the benefit of a fall protection system being in place.
