29 CFR 1910.107(b)(1): Spray booths were not substantially constructed of steel, securely and rigidly supported, or of concrete or masonry except that aluminum or other substantial noncombustible material may be used for intermittent or low volume spraying: (a) Paint Area: On April 3, 2018 and times prior, employees conducted a flammable spray coating operation on manufactured steel components inside a ventilated spray booth. The spray booth was not fully constructed with noncombustible materials. One end of the spray booth was constructed of combustible polyethylene curtains and the sides of the spray booth were covered in cardboard.
