29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about February 15, 2018, and times prior thereto: a. In the Production Area where employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when operating a Hooper Swift Small Press, S/N SE2P970F with rotating belts and rollers, without one or more methods of machine guarding. b. In the Production Area where employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when operating a Hooper Swift Printer Slotter, S/N WS02P2500E with rotating belts and rollers, without one or more methods of machine guarding.
