29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Each circular crosscut table saw shall be guarded by a hood which shall meet all the requirements of paragraph (c)(1) of this section for hoods for circular ripsaws. a. In the carpenter room located in the basement, the crosscut table saw did not have guards in place to prevent employees from coming into contact with the moving saw blade. On or about January 16, 2018, an employee sustained a laceration to the hand when using the table saw.
