29 CFR 1910.25(c)(2): In addition to paragraph (b) of this section, the employer must ensure standard stairs have a maximum riser height of 9.5 inches (24 cm): On or about January 6, 2018, the employer failed to ensure employees had a safe means of accessing the rack system on the 9 inch extruder press line, in that, employees had to climb approximately 28 inches to access the equipment.
