29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(iii)(b): During hoisting, the load contacted obstructions: East Side of Building - On or about January 2, 2018, an employee, who was operating the P&H 15 Ton Crane, serial #CJ-31282BC, was carrying a load of a large scrap bin that struck a stack of stored steel material near the aisle causing the bin to twist and swing. The crane operator suffered an amputation to the tip of the right pinky finger when it was pinched between the load and the Messer CNC Torch Cutting Machine.
