29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about December 27, 2017 at the Johnson Controls facility- in the Strip Casting department of the Facility, employees were exposed to serious injuries to the fingers and hands, in that the Sprocket Wheels and Chain on the trim reclaim conveyor belt located 24 Inches above the floor was not enclosed and guarded. The Johnson Controls was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 950837, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/7/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 5005 York Drive in Norman, Oklahoma.
