Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to struck-by and caught-in hazards from operation of a track hoe: On or about December 30, 2017, and at times prior thereto, employees performing drilling mud mixing for soil farming operations at Parr 1-30-1aXH, Section 3, Town 6N, Range 6W drilling site near Ninnekah, OK, were exposed to struck-by and caught-in hazards when the employer did not restrict employee access to the swing radius of the track hoe during operations.
