29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces were inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition: (a) Formation Department - Building 12: On or about April 19, 2018, in the vicinity of the charging tables, there was an uncovered floor trench for drainage of battery acid. The floor trench spanned the concrete walking-working surface which measured approximately 31 inches long X 3.75 inches wide X 2.5 inches in depth, exposing employees to a trip and fall hazard.
