29 CFR 1910.29(b)(3): Guardrail systems were not capable of withstanding, without failure, a force of at least 200 pounds (890 N) applied in a downward or outward direction within 2 inches (5 cm) of the top edge, at any point along the top rail: a) AAP St. Marys Corp. on or about December 19, 2017, at the address of 1100 McKinley Rd. Saint Marys, OH: The employer did not ensure the guardrail system installed along the elevated platform surrounding the Low Pressure Molding (LPM) #25 Machine was adequately secured against displacement. Employees working from the elevated platform in this condition were exposed to a fall of 7ft. 4 in. to the concrete floor below.
