29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut. Employees engaged in wood cutting activities in the specials department using the Martin slide table saw #1258 were exposed to laceration and amputation hazards in that the saw was not adequately guarded. The saw was equipped with an automatically adjusting hood that was raised to make the cut.
