29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): The employer does not protect each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. This violation was most recently observed on 11/28/17, at a jobsite located at 31 Market Street, Ipswich, MA 01938, where employees working/walking on a low slope/flat roof were exposed to fall hazard greater than fifteen feet above lower level and were not protected from falling. Prior violations referred to include a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard which is contained in: William Trahant, JR. Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1274396, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on (cannot locate final order dat. Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1003916, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 27, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at Congress Street, Salem, MA.
