29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1): Walking and Working Surfaces with an unprotected side or edge that was four feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling. A) At the loading dock, on or about November 1, 2017, and at times prior to, employees load/unload windows and doors from trucks. There was an area with opening of about 28 inches wide without a barrier/chain on the dock, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of greater than 48 inches to the concrete ground.
