OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to rack collapse and overhead struck-by hazards while working and walking in the fabrication and shipping area: Location - Fabrication dept. and shipping area: On or about October 6, 2018, the employer failed to anchor all warehouse racking uprights to the concrete floor and exposed employees to potential rack collapse and overhead struck-by hazards.
