29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): Fabrication area - On or about September 18, 2017, employees were required to hand-feed the work piece (red plastic hat) on the bed of the Baileigh Drill Press No. DP156 containing an unguarded 4.5 inch diameter hole saw cutting tool that was rotating. Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s). Employee(s) were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with rotating parts.
