29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): Enclosed workplaces were not so constructed, equipped, and maintained to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, or other vermin. A continuing and effective extermination program was not instituted where their presence was detected: a) Establishment Break Room- On or about September 20, 2017, employees were exposed to diseases directly or indirectly transmitted by rodents such as salmonella and hantavirus. Mice or other vermin were not exterminated or controlled by the employer.
