29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees to OSHA within twenty-four (24) hours: (a) 6060 CARLISLE PIKE, MECHANICSBURG, PA - An employee was transported from the workplace to the hospital where he was admitted on September 15, 2017, and the employer did not report the event to OSHA until September 19, 2017. No abatement certification or documentation required. United Parcel Service Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1144557, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 14, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1 UPS Way, Champlain, New York, 12919.
