29 CFR 1910.266(d)(6)(iii): Each employee performing a logging operation at a logging work site was not working in a position or location that is within visual or audible contact with another employee. a) On or about September 1, 2017, and at times prior thereto, a sawyer was felling trees without being in visual or audible contact of the other members of the logging crew including the yarder operator, hooker and processor operator. NOTE: Abatement certification AND supporting documentation are required for this item.
