29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes were not arranged so that employees did not have to travel toward a high hazard area, unless the path of travel is effectively shielded from the high hazard area by suitable partitions or other physical barriers: (a) On or about September 1, 2017 employees working in the perishable warehouse were exposed to inhalation, fire, and explosion hazards associated with a release of anhydrous ammonia when the emergency exit routes caused employees to exit into an area with anhydrous ammonia.
