29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor shall not have other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function. a) On or about August 30, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite - employees engaged in roofing activities on a low-slope roof, greater than twenty five (25) feet in height, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. Matthews Roofing Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1177630, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 16, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 2101 Scoville Avenue, Berwyn, IL 60402. Matthews Roofing Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1074912, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 27, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1600 W. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL 60194.
