OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about August 24, 2017, at 2525 Wayne Poultry Road, Pendergrass, Georgia: An employee loading and unloading a Somero S-22E Laser Screed on a Carolina flatbed trailer was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 4-5-feet when he had to use the tires and frame of the trailer to climb up to the trailer bed because a step was not installed on the passenger side of the trailer.
