29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels are not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor are employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Mike Krueger dba Altogether Roofing: The employer does not ensure each employee performing roofing work atop a residential structure is protected from falls. This violation was most recently observed on August 23, 2017, at the address of 2638 Springwater Dr., Toledo, Ohio where employees atop the structure were exposed to an approximately 19 feet fall. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that its employees performing roofing work are protected from falls by utilizing one or more fall protection systems.
