29 CFR 1910.263(c)(3): Sprocket(s) and V-belt drive(s) of bakery machinery located within reach from platform(s) or passageway(s) or located within 8 feet 6 inches from the floor were not completely enclosed: a) Specialty Bakers LLC 560 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz, PA Dough dumper -- The employer did not enclose the sprocket of the dough dumping lift that is located within reach of the employees, thereby exposing employees to injuries, on or about August 17, 2017. b) Specialty Bakers LLC 560 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz, PA line 1 pie maker-- The employer did not enclose the sprocket of the dough feed belt that is located after the dough drops on the pie tin and is within reach of the employees, thereby exposing employees to injuries, on or about August 17, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
