29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts: a) On or about 08/10/2017 in the Dry Pet Bank area; where employees were exposed to improperly guarded pinch points, in an auger, while taking product samples from the dryer. On 08/03/2017, an incident occurred, while an employee was taking a sample from a sample port, which resulted in a fingertip amputation. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
