40.1-51.1(a), Code Of Virginia: The employer did not furnish employment, and/or a place of employment, which were free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employee(s) in that; employee(s) setting trusses on townhouses under construction, identified as lots #126 & # 127 Elk Lick Road, Arcola, Virginia, were attaching horizontal bracing in a manner that lateral stability was not provided. Employee(s) exposed to a fall hazard of 28'. One feasible, and acceptable, abatement method, among others, to abate this hazard would be the installation of the horizontal bracing throughout the truss system as directed by the Truss Plate Institute in their Standard "HIB-91".
