OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards of being struck-by flying debris from the grinder machine which were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) The employer did not protect employees from struck by flying debris from the grinder machine. This violation occurred on or about August 2, 2017, when at least one (1) employee was working less than 500 feet in front of the grinder's feed conveyor during operation, exposing employee to the struck-by hazards.
