29 CFR 1910.133(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used eye protection that provides side protection when there was a hazard from flying objects. Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields) meeting the pertinent requirements of this section are acceptable: At 500 Newton Street, Park Hills, MO 63601, specifically inside of the Fabrication Department, employee(s) were using the unguarded Wilton Drill Press, m/n A2608, s/n 355582-B, to drill holes into metal stock for the purpose of building a basketball backboard frame. The prescription glasses worn were not equipped with side shields. This violation was observed on 07/26/17.
