29 CFR 1926.502(d)(21): Personal fall arrest systems were not inspected prior to each use for wear, damage, and other deterioration, and/or defective components were not removed from service: a) 325 Whippany Road, Building 4, Whippany Crossing, Whippany, NJ. Employees setting trusses were exposed to falls of 17'7" to the second floor from the trusses and exposed to falls of 21' from the top of the second floor to the ground below at this new townhome construction as the when fall protection was used, the vertical lifeline component was frayed and was not removed from service. Violation observed on or about 05/12/2017.
