Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On or about June 12, 2017, at the above jobsite the employer did not ensure that a Stilh TS 430 saw was operated according to the manufacture's instruction manual in that the pipe being cut was not supported and the operator of the saw was allowed to operate the saw from directly behind the saw rather than standing to the side with respect to the cutting wheel.
